Soooo yeah. I've been pretty busy lately.
I got a car and a job (I have to work to pay off half of the car!). I'm a waitress at a Chinese restaurant. It's A LOT of work (I have to wait, bus tables, finish making orders (by putting rice and sauces on), clean out and refill all the sauces and soy, clean the entire restaurant, and vacuum), but it's worth it. I make only $2.50 an hour, but I get great tips. And its typically only me and one other person working at a time, so there's not much table competition.
But yeah. I've made about $150 in two weeks, only working one or two days a week. So that's not too bad!! I spent a bit of it on tulips for my mom for Valentine's Day and then I just bought myself a Monster High doll today.
I also got accepted to all five of the colleges I applied for. Now it's time to make some decisions. I want to go to art college, because it's my dream to be an animator, but good GOD the prices!! It's $30K a YEAR WITHOUT room and board at both of the schools I want to attend. That means it will cost me $120K IF I finish on time. ;_; Like, WOAH. Talk about debt! Even if I work and or get scholarships, it will still be WAYYY more than any other school.
I could go to Michigan State and study to be an art teacher for only $15K a year. That way I'll have good credibility and still be kind of close to home. But the atmosphere there just isn't...me. I don't know how to describe it. It's so stressful! @_@
But yeah...on the lighter side, I'm going to Disney World in April!!
